Hey guys. Few quick questions.

1. Will 8GB of ram be enough for programs like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, AE, etc.? Gaming wise only Football Manager.

2. Is 2.3GHz fast enough?

3. How much space (roughly) do the settings and OS take up? Thinking of the low end retina and I believe that 256GB is enough. My personal files are about 45GB then there's just a few programs I really use so I won't be downloading too many.

Thanks

8 GB might suffice if you are not using those applications to their full extent and not at the same time. 16 GB would be better.
And yes, 2.3 GHz is fast enough, the extra 300 MHz are not worth the price.

And the OS uses less than 10 GB, iLife takes up less than 5 GB and the settings and preferences normally less than 500 MB.

Thanks. I might get the 16GB to be safe. Hopefully down the road I could upgrade the SSD without voiding the warranty. I want to future proof it as best as I can.

With the non retina MBP, am I correct in believing the RAM and HD are user-upgradeable without voiding the warranty?
