When I press and hold the power button to turn on the iPad Pro, it takes about 4-5 seconds for the Apple logo to appear. Once the logo appears, sometimes a fine white line flickers on the screen for a split second. I’ve noticed that other iPad models show the Apple logo much faster when powering on. Have anyone else observed this?

My iPad Pro display just died. It had been working well for several weeks (I don't remember if it flickered) but a few days ago it started to crash every few minutes. Sometimes there was an ink blot effect - the screen started to go dark from a spot in the middle that spread like an inkblot to edges of screen. Never seen anything like it in an iPad. I took it to Genius Bar and got a full replacement.

It seems Apple has integrated a file vault esque feature into the iPad Pro. When the new MacBook Pros launched last year enabling that feature caused the exact same line on the display when booting up.
