Powering up an old 512Ke

I have an old 512Ke that's been in a dry clean storage room for over 20 years. A few boxes of 400k and 800k diskettes are with it. I have a torx opening tool. Anything I should do to inspect the analog board, replace the battery (etc.), before trying to power it on?

Personally, I'd just fire it up and see what happens.

Right. Turn it on. Worst that will happen - capacitors will pop and be really stinky. That will make them easy to spot for replacement. ;-)
