Hello newbie to the forum sorry if it is in the wrong section.

My Mac won't power up but the CD drive makes a noise then stops like it's trying to do something, and I can hear like the turn on sound I have disconnected the battery also. See video attached any ideas be appreciated.

I cannot remember if awhile back I spilt something on the keyboard

 
After a few YouTube vids and disconnecting things inside got this now see photo attached

I would recommend try to see if these three options work initially.

  • Boot into Safe Mode: Press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard as soon as you hear the startup chime.


  • Reset NVRAM: Immediately after rebooting, press Command + Option + P + R.


  • Repair the boot disk: Reboot your Mac and press Command + R to boot into Recovery Mode. Then, select Disk Utility, select your hard drive, and click First Aid
