Anybody know where I can locate firmware for this?

As I recall, when I installed my Sonnet dual 1.8 I actually flashed the ROM from OS 9. Other CPU upgrades I have experience with must be installed through OS X.

The Sonnet firmware/patch will still allow booting into OS 9, something that many other 7447A upgrades don't allow.

Awesome! I'll try flashing when I get home, thanks!

Am I supposed to open the .PKG file or burn it to a disk? I'm a bit unsure how this works.

I'm working on memory, but you should just be able to run .pkg and then reboot/hold the programmer's button as per instructions.

I'm out of town now, but I really need to image my Sonnet disk which does have the OS 9 software on it(I'm not sure if the download will give you the OS 9 software). Mine is deteriorating, which gives me more motivation to do it(I'll probably image it as a .smi under OS 9 and upload it to the Garden). If the link doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll get on this.
