Hi,

I don;t know if anyone can help me with this problem, but would be grateful for any advice.

Basically, when I go to shutdown my PowerMac it shuts down then reboots after about 30mins. It happens every time, and it just at the select user account page. However if I click shutdown at the select user account page it will shut down permanently. Yet for some reason if I shut down afte rusing the Mac it randomly reboots.

I've repaired permissions and various stuff and the problem persists.

Maybe other people have experienced this?

Thanks for any help

Are you connected to a network? I would try playing around with the options in the "Energy saver" system Preference. Wake for eternet access and similar
