Right, anyone who can answer me a simple question would be great here.

I've picked up some more PowerPC Macs. Today it was a pair of quicksilvers with their studio displays. They had no RAM or HDD's. Does anyone know if PC100 RAM will work in them? I don't think it does with my testing. Any advice would be apreciated. The one i'm working on at the moment is a QuickSilver 1.0GHz DP from 2002. I've ordered some more ram, I just wanted to play before hand!

Thanks a ton,
Andrew,

I'm pretty sure quicksilvers all had PC133. I had the same problem with mine so I got a few sticks of PC133 and that fixed it. I don't see why PC100 wouldn't work, the only difference is the speed in which it can operate.

Damn

I realised this from the start. You're right, in theory it should work. Oh well. I've purchased 2x512MB sticks and a 2x256MB sticks of PC133. They'll get here tomorrow so i'll update you guys on the process. :)

It's annoying watching them sit here unused!

Thanks for all the help!
