PowerMac G5 1.8.....advice?

hey guys,

i am about to start university here in the UK, and as well as my PB, i am considering the purchase of a G5 single 1.8GHz machine.

the machine will have the following specs:

1.8GHz G5
bluetooth
Airport extreme
1GB ram
80GB hd (i alreasdy have a FW drive)
wireless KBM
the total for this is UK£1267.

i am doing an intensive management with air transport design degree, and shall be using various CAD programs as wel as the usual stuff (office, PS, iLife usage).

it will be either this, or i shall be upgrading my PB to the latest revision and will then purchasing a mac mini with the following:

512MB ram
40GB hd
BT + AE
KEYBOARD
mouse
superdrive

i already will have a DELL 1800FP monitor, which i will use wit either machine.

I would defenetly go for the SP 1.8 G5, because.
The G5 is better than all of the other you are taking about and it is 64Bit (Tiger)

And there is a sea of upgradebiliy with it compared to the mac mini and the PB 😉

i was leaning towards a powermac but needed some assurance...its good because of the upgradable hardware oppertunities...as much as i like the mac mini, i am able to budget for a better machine, so i will go for the PM.
