Based on personal experience, I would stay away from M-Audio. I bought their ProFire 610 earlier, obviously manufacturer does not provide suitable drivers for it now, I managed to find several versions here & there which still had PPC support, but neither of them actually worked (they installed, some of them launched, device was recognized, but sound controls remained dead). I wrote to M-Audio support over e-mail and in Twitter, both have been ignored. Sold ProFire due to being unable to make it usable with G5.

This doesn't work, then?

Did not work for me, and it is an ancient version. The latest I was able to find with PPC support was 2.4.2, it installed, launched, recognized device, but failed to function.
(Screenshot is from MacMini, I also tried it on G5 Quad with identical result.)

You sure the problem wasn't with the device itself? I've found M-Audio stuff to be pretty reliable with old Macs. Not as good as RME, but still.

Well, I can’t be 100% sure, but apparently device worked for the person who bought it from me. Also, even leaving device aside, situation with drivers is mad: M-Audio offers outdated and broken ones, some existing drivers install and don’t launch etc.

P. S. Of course, if it failed for me, that doesn’t mean it gonna fail for everyone. But the drivers mess IMO just should not be there.
