PowerMac G5 Photobooth with Leopard

Can't get "effects" to work. Anybody know the secret? The help menu refers to an "empty" frame that does not appear. I want to make a special effects backdrop for video conferencing purposes. Kinda like in What the Bleep" where they interviewed people and put a picture of a college campus or church in the background.

Any thoughts out there?

There not available on my G5 either. Apple says they are Intel only I'm afraid:

"Photo Booth and backdrop effects require an Intel Core Duo or faster processor."
