(remember that business's don't run cutting edge hardware):

1.25 Ghz G4 // UNFEASIBLE - LEGACY AT THIS POINT
512 MB Ram
20 gig HDD // TO SMALL
Bluetooth and Airport Extreme built-in // EASY TO STEAL STUFF BY STUPID ASS EMPLOYEES!!!!

ATI 9200 64MB // WHY?
CD-ROM
$599 in 1,000 unit quantities // BAD BUISNESS MODEL FOR APPLE.
---- BECAUSE TO LOW OF A MARGIN
$899 in lower quantities
// MORE LIKE IT -> only up to 1,000 units, and then its relative by 100 unit orders beyond this with 7-10% mark down. NOT $300 bucks and something like 30% mark down.. are you NUTS?

OS X 10.4 with built-in port of Wine (you still have to run the Windows business apps, and I'm not talking about Office)

:D

I want a PowerMac G5 Express. Just plug the powerbrick into the wall and it will have a USB, Firewire, monitor ports built-in. And it will have built-in wireless 802.11g and bluetooth. It should be at least a 1.8 Ghz G5.

Wow, I expected to get super-flamed for encouraging Apple to sell out to corporate America.

Thanks for humoring my ideas! :p

Actually in looking at your original post again, I think I see better what you mean. Corporate America looks at Apple products and sees style. Style means expense (since these same types are buying the Hummer H2 and other SUV's, and the sporty cars instead of the Chevy Mailbu.

I can see a bland eMac in your basic black speckled finish. Remove iLife, bundle Office 2004 in at $999 with AppleCare standard for quantities above 10 units perhaps.
