Try running a hardware test on the 2.0Ghz Mac - Use the Hardware Test disc that came with the Mac.

Make sure that the 2.0Ghz Mac as all the latest updates installed as you may be using an old Open GL driver for the Nvidia 6800 card. Up date your system to 10.3.8 etc...

You could also try removing 1 gig of ram epsecially if the ram is third party and then run WoW and see how it performs.

Some people say that the CAS rating makes no difference on G5 but the ram should be at least CAS 3 - CAS 2.5 or faster will run but wether the Mac makes use of the extra speed - we don't know as yet.

Check to make sure that you have enough drive space for the game to run.
Disable third party application that run at start up. I bet there is something running that is using all of your system resources.

Like as already been said Zap the PRAM and repair permissions empty the cache files - these are temp files that can slow your Mac down. Download Onyx from version tracker to empty cache and repair permissions.

You can down Onyx here http://www.titanium.free.fr/english.html
