I have a G5 Quad and I was wondering how much of a performance increase I would see if I got a first gen Mac Pro 2.0 Quad to replace it.
I know that I would be able to run Windows/ Boot Camp on it. Does anybody play Flight Simulator X on Windows, and what is your FPS? I can run FSX on my MB, but it barely runs, and I would like a better Intel Mac to run it.

define "already outdated." A first gen mac pro would still trounce the current imacs at many (maybe all) tasks.

Okay you caught me  It's a great computer but IMO, I wouldn't spend money for 3 years old computer. What I found from eBay, they're over 1000$ and only came with 30" display which gives the total of 2900$, almost same as the current octo Mac Pro. GPUs and RAM are outdated, but I think you can put a better GPU in it. It was just my opinion
