PowerNap NOT supported on 3rd-party SSDs

    Well this is a bummer. I was hoping I could buy a Crucial SSD and join in on the fun...

    I don't recall anybody laughing at you. I thought it was pretty obvious that given the system requirements regarding PowerNap, that it obviously going to exclude third party SSD's. It's nice to have some formal confirmation, but honestly, it's nothing that earth shattering.

    ETA: Nevermind on the rest of what I said earlier. I don't want to fight...

    Not that it really matters to me, since I'm happy with the 512GB SSD in my new rMBP, but OWC is reporting Power Nap working on their Aura Pro SSDs...
