Keynote and PC insurance

Yep, Keynote is so much better than Powerpoint you'd think it was developed by a company that had high quality standards and understood design... ah, um... yes, I see what you mean...

I have to do presentations regularly and always take my Powerbook. Sometimes there are problems connecting this to the projector (amazing how easily windoze technicians can find reasons for not connecting Macs into their network) so I always take a PPT version and export the whole thing to pdf. If its just simple slides with text and photos (I tend to avoid complex video and animations - I think they often add 'noise' rather than help to clarify the point) pdf does quite a good job of keeping the Mac look on a PC. Even Windows can't mess up pdf!
