I am having an issue where one of my clients is trying to print a powerpoint presentation that he created on his Mac. Within this presentation there are slides that have excel spreadsheets inserted. For some reason one of the slides will not print because it says that there is not enough memory to print the document. The error is coming from the printer and not on the computer. But it is clearly an issue with the computer because we have tried printing it from different printers with the same result. We have tried pasting the excel spreadsheet as an image as well as an excel sheet but to no avail. The only thing that has seemed to work is by saving the slide as a pdf and printing it that way, but this does nto even worked consistently. I have been unable to find any solutions thus far. Any suggestions or help would be very appreciated.

Unless you need the spreadsheet to be functional, this will reduce the size of the file:
  1. Open the slide in PP slide show view, so it fills the screen.
  2. Make a screen shot, saving the image to a file.
  3. Insert a new slide in the PP presentation
  4. Paste the picture you saved into the slide, resizing it to fit.
  5. Delete the slide with the spreadsheet.
  6. You now have the same presentation, but the spreadsheet is only an image, so it should take up less space.
