Powerpoint questions?

I just imported a massive ppt show into mac ppt 2004 from pc ppt 2003- oy. Here are a few questions:
1. How do I hide those sound icons - I'd like the sound to play automatically without the image showing.
2. How do I adjust sound volumes for those sound icons?
3.Is there a way to select a whole bunch of slides and change the speed of the transition fade without changing the length of the transition? When I try, I seem to have to change both the transition length AND the speed (from fast to med) of all the transitions selected... I'd hate to have to do each one individually..
4. If a slide with a video clip gets chopped at the end and moves to the next slide, how do I adjust that so the whole clip will play?
I'm a mac newbie, and I'm cautiously optimistic!

I've only used PPT on Windows but I'll try to help.

1. Drag the icon off the slide.

2. Not sure. Maybe right-click or try a file menu?

3. I think you go to View > And select slide sorter to change things like that.

4. Not sure.
