PowerPoint Substitute?

iam new to mac i owe a new macbook the white one. i need to use powerpoint but i dont have enough to buy the program. so is there something that mac makes thats simliar to powerpoint that i can download.
i know its sound stupid but like i said iam new even to this forum

NeoOffice if you need something for free.

If you're willing to spend $79 you could get iWork, with Pages (a word processor), Keynote (a presentation program) and Numbers (a spreadsheet application). You should have a 30 day trial installed on your MacBook...
Once you try Keynote it's hard to get back to MS or NeoOffice.
