Powerpoint (Windows to Mac)

I'm hoping somebody here can help me figure this out.

When I had powerpoint on a windows machine, the tabs on the normal view let you see outlines of each slide as well as thumbnail on the left side. The Mac version only shows the outline. Is there anyway to get that thumbnail view?

Which version do you have? It works fine in PPT 2004.
