PowerSupport Bumper for the iPhone 5

It looks like the Lightning connector opening on these is large enough to work with the Lightning Adapter cable, unlike the iPhoneCase ThinEdge (which is a fantastic bumper otherwise). However, not looking to spend $50 on a bumper. :(

I wouldn't make that assumption until you have one in hand or someone confirms. If you look at the images on the site, there seems to be smaller circular cutout right by the larger rectangle cutout.

This is correct. Unfortunately I don't have an adaptor to test it.

Does the edge of the bumper raise in thickness? Is it the exact same thickness because this is not ideal if the phone is dropped :( might have to miss it if it only protects sides.
 
Front and back are both raised- the back slightly more.

^and no. Fit is already very snug just on the phone. The bumper comes with screen/rear protectors so you'll be covered anyways.
 
with shipping its 69 dollars to canada....YIKES

I mean, the otterbox defender is that much, but for all the protection it provides it makes sense for some people

but this is a super thing bumper.......DAMMM lol
 
I had this bumper for the iPhone 4S and while it is sexy the bumper wasn't really durable. the silver part of the material is easily scratched and rentable. the black rubber area does protect your phone from shocks and falls quite well though. hopefully they made the case a bit more durable this time around

I had the white/pearl coloured PS bumper for my 4S and thought it was the best fitting bumper I had owned (previously used the Apple bumper and the SGP Linear EX).

i agree that the support for the top of the phone was quite thin but it just felt right for me.

As soon as the insurance comes through for my stolen iP4s I am going to hunt one of these iP5 bumpers down as I am sure it will be just as good as the iP4s bumper.
 
I want to order this case but I have the Spigen glass T screen protector on my phone. I'm not sure if the case will fit.
 
All the accessories are overpriced to be honest, even iPhone itself.

Nice review!!!! It answered 2 of my questions!


1- I am so glad that you put the silver/white on a back iPhone! It doesn't look as good as I though, so I will go for silver/back!

2- This can protect the iPhone 5 frame because I got some dents on mine with the Elago outfit case.


I found this is also available in HK local store for $339 which is US$43 and shipping should be less than US$10bucks.

It is quite expensive but it is still cheaper from any website.


I wish Apple is not going to make any change on next iPhone...
