Eager to join PPC challenge in 21, but it seems I need to find Wacom Intuos 3 first.
I re-claimed 2.0 GHz G5 Dual, and only Intuos 3 have PPC driver compatibility for it. The latter model are Intel only. For artist alike, finding resources for PPC is like trying find a needle in a haystack. There's also Wacom Grafire 4 which perfectly matched with G4 tower aesthetics, but I prefer Intuos 3.

I am digital artist and my daily gear are indeed pen tablet/display, my current Cintiq/Intuos setup backwards compatibility seems only goes through 2012 OS.

Also software aside, no equivalent drawing software, but PS CS2 seems usable albeit still challenging...I need to use less layer...but that's ok, and I heard they free from Adobe now.

Thankfully I am rarely (almost never) do watching Youtube and other majority streaming services so there's should be zero issues when it come to older OSX (currently have 10.5.8). Back in the day my workflow still using animator light board and scanning each paper manually, computer only do the rest for coloring/painting. I can go full offline so I can entirely eschew compatible browser, I am leverages my communications duty to mobile phone for email and such. Might go to dumb phone but I afraid missed important email from my client.

Not my photo, but I think my setup would end up like this.
i think the intuos 4 was the last one with ppc drivers

PPC is not a 'challenge' for me; I use my powerbook daily. The last x86 machine I owned wasn't intel either. It was an amd 486, and it ran OS/2. I can't stand DOS. I was forced to use one at work recently. I think they're up to DOS 10 now and ctrl-alt-del is how you log in. They've come a long way, because that used to be how you reboot it every time it crashed. They also still insist in using a backwards slash for everything. Maybe in another 50 years they'll fix that.

A whole week is too much.
Lol no it isn't. You aren't doing it right and are probably in the wrong place.
I use PPCs almost daily. There's not much I can't do with them.

This is how I am mostly. As I said above I use them a lot.

I've also got lots of x86 machines, including Mac Pros and other Intel Macs. Windows 10 is actually Windows NT (though I'm sure you knew that). I never liked DOS either, and I was 'okay' with Windows pre-10. I can't stand 10. I liked 7. As well as a few others. 2003 (NT 5.2) and 2000 Pro are my other two favorites. However I can't stand any of the DOS Shells ie Win 98.

You clearly are in the wrong subforum. Do 5 minutes of research in this subforum and you can prove yourself wrong.

The majority of the posts on this thread (including my OP) was done from a PPC Mac so. There’s that.
I think now's the time to back away. If this person continues to belabor the point then they aren't interested in learning, they're just interested in arguing. I don't like it any more than you do, but I fear what may happen if we let another thread get out of hand in the old vs. new debate.
