The PPCAppStore is a digital distribution platform, for PowerPC macs, compatible with Tiger, Leopard and SnowLeopard OS.
The store allows users to browse and download essential applications to keep their PowerPC macs alive.
The purpose of the store is to keep a copy of the applications, because lately the platform PowerPC is no longer supported and developers not provide anymore the version for PowerPC.

If this is a PowerPC App Store, why is Snow Leopard supported? No hate, just curious. I will give this a look at when I get home to my PPCs.

Very nice work, Redmanu. Henry (HFTaylor) was working on a leopard store idea that would include a user created foxbox library. That would be cool to incorporate. Nick, Henry and a few others have made some great fox boxes that bring icloud notes/maps/photo functionality to leopard.

Snow Leopard has a PPC emulation layer, Rosetta, which it is used for from what I understood.

I do only own a PowerPC Mac but if I am not wrong there is a easy way to use PowerPC apps on snow leopard called Rosetta.
EDIT: lol @Daniël Oosterhuis you anticipated me! I use to have a lot of tabs open and then to read them, so this page was not updated when I wrote the message

Hi! I already talked to Henry, PPCAppStore will be part of his theme for Tiger / Leopard when the final version will be launched. I'm glad you like it! Thank you

Because the app for Leopard also work in Snow Leopard thanks to Rosetta ... and because I have a MacbookPro late 2008 17 "with Snow Leopard and El Capitan.
