Just purchased the iPad with retina display on black friday
I downloaded the magazine "Practical Photoshop" for newsstand app. I then purchased an issue and it sticks on waiting and does not download. I left the app open for 30 minutes and it was just frozen on a loading screen saying waiting.
I then looked at the help and did what it said:
delete app (also cleared all open apps)
hard reset
re-download app
restore purchases
(if i click on the issue it acknowledges I've purchased the issue but does the waiting thing and does not download, if I go to the help section to restore purchases it does not re-download any items.)
I tried that several times.
I then restored my iPad to factory settings and only download that app and tried to restore purchase, still nothing.
I then grabbed my iphone and tried downloading the app and restoring purchases it work. However, I want to read it on my iPad not iPhone for the obvious larger screen.
I emailed the people who developed the app via the app, and they claim to have recieved isolated reports on devices with iOS6 where a standalone purchase is stuck on waiting. They then told me to do what I have mentioned above to get it to work.
Anyone else experience with this problem or one like it?
