What can you use Bluetooth for apart from connecting to PDAS and cell phones or really slow data transfer between computer?

Is there any practical reason to get one or is it just for specific needs? There are bluetooth mice and printers but none of them work with OS X.

I am using a bluetooth mouse with OSX as I type...

BT is something of a future investment. Anything that runs with a USB wire is a potential bluetooth candidate (printers, scanners, etc.) Also, BT in an iPod would be nice, not for transferring songs, or even contacts a la a PDA, but to use bluetooth remotes or (better) headphones.

In Europe, you can purchase from a vending machine with bluetooth. It's very cool, but we Americans are typically slow to embrace it.

u can use the MS bluetooth mice and keyboards with os x 10.2.5 ;)

How is this bluetooth mouse you're using? Responsive? Any skipping? Smooth?

Thanks

P.S. I wish Apple will enable bluetooth printing!
