Pre-Order an iPhone 4 and 3GS??

I've heard stories from people that pre-ordered more than 1 iPhone in their Family Plan and got their pre-order canceled

Right now my Dad is interested in getting an iPhone and he wanted the cheaper $99 iPhone 3GS
I already have my iPhone 4 pre-ordered from AT&T but i'm worried if i pre-order again on the same Family Plan, my iPhone 4 pre-order would be canceled

Any help?

I ordered two for my family plan. One shipped friday night, one tonight. Ordered them both from apple. Had to do it as two different orders.

Weirdly the order that just shipped (which was the first order placed, by 2 minutes) is supposedly due to arrive 30 hours sooner despite being shipped 2 days later.
