I'm wondering what the point of the iPhone upgrade program is here in the UK. I've been in it since last year with my 7 plus, I've made my eleven payments, and I'm eligible for an upgrade. Obviously I want to upgrade to the 8 when it's released, so I thought I'd give Apple a call today to see what the procedure will be. They tell me that there will be no facility to pre-order of you're on the iUP. So does that mean I'll have to wait for ages for stock to arrive if I can't upgrade when Apple open up for pre-orders? Surely we should get some sort of priority, otherwise I might as well have stayed with EE!

You CAN upgrade, of course. It just seems as though the phones can't be pre-ordered.
I was wondering this as well, but more so about the payments! I bought my 7 plus on launch weekend and have a payment due date of the 18th every month...
if the phones aren't available until the 22nd.. am I going to end up paying twice next month for my iPhone basically? Does anyone know if you can switch the payment date with Citizens one to a later date that month?

I understand that. But my auto payment will process on the 18th regardless. So if the launch is the 22nd like rumors suggest, then I will have literally just paid for a 13th month of my iPhone 7. Less than a week before paying for the new phone.
