Other Pre-Order Store Pickup Question

So I haven't ever done store pickup for any of my pre-orders, but need to do it this time around. However I'm unable to make it to the store on the launch Friday, and won't be there till Saturday. I wanted to know if the Apple Store just holds your reserved pre ordered phone or is there a specific time they tell you to come in?

They will hold your Pickup for several days. I don't remember the exact number but the next day is definitely in the window.

As long as you got charged for the device, they will hold it for 14 days.

Yes because it follows the Apple Store return policy which is 14 days.
