Is Friday's presale only for people who are upgrading service, or can totally new customers sign-up for service/be assigned a new phone #, etc? AMAZINGLY, apple chat wasn't able to answer this question.
Ideally, I'd actually like to ETF my Sprint service, transfer to AT&T (which I've figured out would actually save me money in the long term), but retain my phone number. That seems tricky though in the context of the pre-sale?
If that's not possible, I'd just settle for canceling Sprint in advance, and signing up for a new phone number during the presale... if THAT's possible.
