Since the X won’t be available SIM Free on day 1, I am forced to figure out how to order the X since my AT&T bill is paid by my company and I am not getting involved in them ordering me (for political reasons). I plan to order it as a Verizon phone, which will come unlocked and use my Mom’s last 4 digit of SS and Account PIN. (She is ok with this by the way). I plan to pay the device in full with Apple Pay through the Apple Store app.
The questions I have is:
1) Will she need to confirm anything else during the pre-order process assuming I will have her last 4 of SS# and Account PIN? I have went through the process with the iPhone 8 and it verified everything. I did everything but continue to buy the phone. I assume I will be good here.
2) Once the phone is delivered to me, will I be able to pop out the Verizon SIM and put in my AT&T SIM right away? Or does it need to activate under her account and then do I need to switch? I don’t want to obviously screw up my Mom’s current phone.
