Pre-ordering US Phone from Overseas?

Does anyone have any experience pre-ordering a US iPhone when traveling abroad?

I live in California but will be traveling in Europe when the iPhone X pre-orders go up, and am a bit concerned I'll run into regional issues. Has anyone done this?

No experience, but I’m guessing the Apple app will direct you to a European store front if you’re in a country that has one.

You might be safer using a browser as you can force it to the US Store?

Opera has a built-in VPN with multiple endpoints, at least in the USA.

You can use a VPN such as pureVPN or NordVPN. They even have apps you can download to your devices. Then just VPN to a US server
