Pre-ordering with debit card?

Has anyone ever pre-ordered from Apple or AT&T with their debit card?? I have a credit and debit card but I was wondering if it works.

I use my BOACC card for all Mac purchases, I get the Amazon points that way...Apple take just about every popular form of CC and Debit card so you will be fine.

Most debit cards can be charged (swiped) as a credit card.

Well my debit card has a daily limit of $500... so if ordering the phone full price, there could be an issue.

I used my debit card to pay for my iPad this past march when I pre-ordered. No issues. However I think you might want to make sure it has a visa or mastercard logo on it. Also, make sure you can read the 3 numbers on the back of the card. Some places ask for that. I can't remember if apple asked for it or not.

Definitely make sure you have enough money in your account to cover your purchases.

I'll be using my debit card again to pre-order the iPhone 5. I can't wait!

when you order online, your card should be used as a credit card. so you should be fine.

I'm actually going to be using my credit card for the rewards, however thanks for that information.
