East coast time? Pacific time?
Going to try and avoid the lines this year.
14 october, in store, they are saying "Come in and let us help you choose" They are not saying you can walk out with one though.
Mine will be the 64GB delivered in due course without me having to stand in a line.
I'm keeping my four, and am far more looking forward to IOS5 for my iPad and phone than the phone itself.
Should have joined the BETA programme for that rather than testing the new phone.
anyone know what time pre orders are in the UK?
Assuming pre-orders start at the same time globally, then it will be 08:01am GMT. Like last year.
See My Post Above
Or go to the UK Apple site.....14th October
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)
I'm 99.99% sure that pre-orders began in the early hours of the morning in the UK last year.
The weak presentation that failed to meet expectations will assure less waiting for those who are buyers.
Correction: I've just checked back on the UK iPhone 4 thread, and found that online pre-orders started at 9:00am.
