pre purchase 10.5 smart keyboard

Is it possible to use a shortcut funtion via smart keyboard to bring up control centre to allow volume to be changed.

I find this control centre function almost essential.

pre purchase question.

Ive been through a few entry level nice looking 3rd party bluetooth keyboards which a few keys are failing within months.

Is it time to invest in Apple smart keyboard.

I appreciate its doesn't have deditacted volume keys or backlight function.

Sorry, there isn't. There's a shortcut to bring up the dock, but not one to bring up the CC, or to change stuff in CC via the keyboard.

CMD +H goes to home screen when not in home screen.

my mstake Iv'e since read via Apple search command h h doesn't work to bring up multitasking screen which I wanted for volume control.

Maybe this could be added via ios 11 release though maybe there's a smart control techy reason as why this was missed as a smart control feature.

I'm running iOS 11 beta 10 and it's not there. Perhaps they will add in a future update, or better still allow users to map keyboard shortcuts to any activity (perhaps via the Workflow acquisition??)

Purchase smart keyboard today and continue to use physical home button for multitask volume control.

smart keyboard delivered from 19:00-2200 hrs bst tonight.

non working 3rd party keyboard driving me slightly mad.

Looking forward to new Apple smart keyboard.

whats the 4 finger swipe?

I dont mind using home button twice for volume control though certainly consider and swipe functions if not too difficult.

Nice modern smart control connectivty device.

Comments of origami are not accurate at all -a few ms to connect to ipad and place into comfortable typing position.

Think this keyboard will cope with maybe a small tea spill or scone crumb.
