iPhone 17 Pro Max Pre-sign delivery ups?

Anyone know if there’s a way to Pre sign via ups? Just incase someone ends up stepping out and the delivery is missed.

I know one year I filled out a form and taped it to my door, driver left the phone but idk if that’s a thing anymore.

This seems to change every year. Most recently I’ve heard that even if you do the pre-sign thing, Apple requires UPS to release it to a human, unless you have a UPS driver that likes to bend the rules

Last time I purchased an iPhone (2 years back) the UPS guy wouldn't leave the package without a signature at all - not even with a neighbour.
Fortunately I do not live too far from work so I had to run home and sign for it!
This time I'm going to store!

It looks like it’s giving me the option to pre sign. I’m not going to try it as I’ve blocked off the whole day to dedicate to waiting 😅 “perks” of being disabled, I guess!
