If a Mac has been freshly restored, at the account creation stage, is there anyway to enter the OS, kind of similar to sysprep on Windows, to test basic functionality?

I have read that you can create a user account and then delete it in order to return to the account creation stage but I have not been able to find any guides of how to do this.

Thanks

No, I don't believe so, in fact I've never heard of this functionality.

You can log into single-user mode, which dumps you at a command line with full privileges, to do basic tests. I don't know of a way to test the graphics, though.
