I think to help promote high end iPhone and to help others recognize the user has one, the iPhone 8 will have premium ear buds that are somehow beats branded and have a distinctive appearance.

Considering they released $150 earpods without wires, I highly doubt that.

Maybe AirPods are included

Apple will NOT include the Airpods. They want these as a separate commodity being how they are proprietary and have been selling strong since December. Including these with the iPhone would also increase the cost factor of the iPhone, which technically wouldn't be "Including" them if you're paying additional for them. Apple wants all the profit on the Airpods.

Why would Apple do that when they can use a distinctive color and camera shape for the high-end iPhone?

Using premium earbuds to promote the iPhone doesn't make any sense. Not every user will use the earbuds and anyone can purchase them.

Yes they will 100% have premium ear buds. They are called Airpods cost $159 and sold seperately.

I expect a premium in cost with the iPhone Edition / 8. With that premium, I would like Apple to throw in the AirPods 2 (2nd generation). It's unlikely, but that would be an ideal package to a premium iPhone.
