Prediction: in 2021 will see first consumer (at home) virus testing kits.
I predict the first devices will be around $500 but price will drop over next few months.
As early as late 2022 the device will cost $59, with the testing cartridge (1 use) at $49 each.
(Of course there will be no recycling so landfills will have more plastic, but it could be.)
I am guessing that existing DNA/RNA samplers will be basis for these devices, design made special purpose and use economics of scale to make cheap, using the Gillette method to be profitable (or at least pay for itself).
