hmmmm - i tend to agree with you but you got the chip name wrong, its:

MaximumExtraCoolMasterMegaSuperXtraExtreme with Velocity Engine 5 Extreme.

I just cut and paste iMac531's list, and changed it around:

• 1.3GHz G5 Powerbooks. All PBs will be Aluminium, and they'll all come with USB 2 and FW800.
• Totally new iBooks, but not the current G3's.
• G5 Xserve.
• Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse
• New Displays for G5 PowerMacs.
• iTMS for Canada and Europe.
• An office suite.

Thats "all" there will be.

Powerbooks haven't been updated for ages; iMac and iPod updates came before powerbook updates; the G5 chip is not too hot for laptop use, and it is MEANT to be the "year of the laptop"???

I believe we will see:
G5 Powerbooks
iTMS EU and Canada
Perhaps something like Office

There a whole bunch of reasons people dont think we will see G5 powerbooks yet. In my mind some of the big ones are
-No reliable rumors are out there on the matter
-I dont think Apple has the technology to put a G5 with a laptop logic board yet
-When the G4 first came out, it was a LONG time before there was a G4 powerbook

uh huh - and btw apple will never rise from such a low point in history. Not even the great SJ could help them now - some article about two months before the first iMacs.

Powerbook 15-inch to go 1-1.3Ghz + USB2 (+ Firewire800 in 1.3Ghz)
Powerbook 17-inch to go 1.3Ghz + USB2 + Firewire800
iBooks to go G4 800-900Mhz with USB2
iMacs as announced
G5 dual 1.8Ghz announced
Panther available Oct 1st
Apple's Music store for PCs (USA & say Australia only) opens Oct 1st
Wireless keyboard & mouse with 2 buttons and scroll wheel
Plus one announcement none of us have even thought of (an iSteve or something)
