This occurred with the current beta. Predictive text suggestions no longer appear under a text entry field unless you tap the keyboard icon off to the right side of the screen. But you must do this for every text entry field otherwise you won’t see them again. All relevant settings for this are enabled. Prior betas as well as the general release are fine, it’s only this latest seed that causes this. Occurs with Magic Keyboard and Smart Keyboard Folio and my M1 12.9 iPad Pro. I’m trying to determine whether this is intentional, which it may be, or a bug.

Predictive Text Is Missing In Current ios 15.2 Beta When Using Magic Keyboard

This is what I see when I tap in a text field such as the Reply box here to reply to your post - that keyboard icon off to the far right at the bottom of the first screenshot. The second screenshot shows the predictive suggestions after I’ve tapped that keyboard icon. Once I finish those will go away and if I need to type in another text field I’ll have to tap that icon again to get them back.
This is what I see as well. It used to show the predictive text right away when I replied to someone. It was working for me up to last night and now not again. It works sometimes and then stops. I think it is a bug with IOS 15.

I found that while using the physical keyboard you can drag the keyboard icon that’s on the bottom right of the screen over to the center of the screen which will set predictive to the default behavior. Mine must have gotten reset to the minimized behavior when updating to 15.2. Once I dragged it over the predictive suggestions now always appear.
I’m having the same experience on 16.1
The predictive text bar disappeared in every app for me yesterday. I’ve tried everything. Turning off stage manager etc. Confirmed the settings were all proper. Tried dragging the icon around. Anybody else seeing this?
Oddly it literally reappeared again, here as I type in safari, but when I switch to Pages or Notes, where it’s most useful, it disappears again. Included screenshots to illustrate my experience(s)

I’m using my Magic Keyboard on my iPad Pro. This issue was resolved for me some time ago. Perhaps look through some of your settings. My screenshot is from Notes I was going to start a new note and at the bottom I see [I, The, and I’m].
