I've been using connect360 without fail since 2009, it's worked through every system update and most of the time since I've had OSX 10.9.1. Last week my xbox was unable to connect to it. Then it gave me a port closed error. I opened the port to no avail. I uninstalled the preference pane and attempted to reinstall it. Since then, I've received an error stating Preferences Error Could not load Connect 360 preference pane.

I have attempted to remove the preference pane and re-add it several times and I get the same result every time. Has anyone else gone through a similar problem?

Have you got your Mac's Firewall turned on in "Security & Privacy" System Preferences?
If so, try turning it off. Then try the connect360 pane.
I had trouble with iPad to Mac VNC when firewall was on back in 10.9.0 Your connect360 pane may be having similar problems now.
