Preferred 13” Pro Resolution

Just got a refurb 2019 13” Pro. Which resolution do most of you that have a 13” prefer? Default it’s 1440x900 but I guess my old eyes prefer 1200x800.

I prefer 1280x800. It is half the retina resolution.

1280x800 is nice, but there's not much UI space. I prefer 1440x900, sometimes even 1680x1050 if I need more space.

I truly wish macOS had a system wide larger fonts preference like iOS.

My previous, Retina MacBook Pro (not the USB C-type ones), was set to 1280x800 by default back then, which was also the resolution of my older MacBook Pro I had before that.

It looked very sharp but preferred 1440x900 (which was what the MacBook Air's had at the time). For some reason, it did give me a headache the first 2 days but I used it like that for years and really loved it. 1280x800 gave me too little room to work with.

You can try this script to enable 1920x1200 as a proper retina resolution
