Was wondering if there are preferred docks that work best with M1/M2 Macs? I have a M2 14 MacBook Pro and am looking to get a reliable dock for it. Doesn't need a million ports but would like to have reliable ethernet. I had read some posts that some ethernet chips are more reliable that others. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmmm....
I can't answer for docks.
But...
If you just need ethernet, there are plenty of low-cost USB3-->ethernet dongles out there...

Check OWC. https://www.owc.com/solutions/connectivity

Will check out the new Microsoft one. I've also been intrigued by the OWC Thunderbolt Pro dock. It's only Thunderbolt 3 but not sure if that matters.
