Preferred weather app?

For years I used yahoo weather (still have it on my work phone), but it would often times be wrong. For the last year I've used Accuweather, but the app doesn't update in Notification Center, and it's hardly ever right with forecasts (ie no rain for 120 minutes when it's raining out now).

What weather apps are you guys using?

I use and like the ad-free Weatherbug subscription. I also occasionally use Wunderground (Weather Underground).

I have used Dark Sky for years, especially in conjunction with their AW app. However, I am currently trying Hello Weather. I really like the UI a lot. Best of all, you can choose the source of the weather information (Dark Sky, Weather Underground, etc.). You do have to pay a yearly subscription fee to unlock most features though. Some downsides to Hello Weather are no push notifications and no AW app. Hopefully those features are introduced soon. Otherwise I'll go back to Dark Sky.

I use Widget Weather, and like to only need to swipe instead of opening an app. Use it together with a local app/widget.
Not that much difference between them, but changes usually shows up faster in the local widget. They fills my needs

I used The Weather Channel for awhile, but its widget stopped updating in Notification Center, then I switched to Accuweather and it's been performing fine for me. If you're in the U.S., you can use this site to see which service is most accurate for your location.

I've switched back to using the stock Weather app for quick check of temperature, forecast. Weather Channel for radar. Otherwise, I have the NWS bookmarked for specific zip-codes/areas: get the info straight from the source.

I used BeWeather for years... but CARROT Weather is my favorite.

I use the weather channel and apparently according to the forecast advisor the weather channel app is the most accurate for my location.

I really like the Carrot weather app with the Wunderground weather source, but I think you have to subscribe to get that source. It's been very accurate on my trips.

I use carrot since it works well on my watch. Overseas I use accuweather which seems to give better forecasts than the local apps that the guides use.

I have found that the accuracy of a weather app or weather service depends on the location you live. For me (living in Europe) WeatherPro gives the best results.

I have moved away from an app and just have a shortcut to the weather service I find to be most accurate for my area. for Denmark this have been yr.no for quit some time

I use Hello Weather and pay for a subscription to use WeatherUnderground forecast model.

I have Dark Sky installed for precipitation alerts.

The stock weather app is somehow the most accurate for me these days when it comes to hour by hour forecasts. I just wish it had an iPad version. Severe weather alerts and doppler would be nice too. I use Weather Live for those last few things.

It just uses The Weather Channel information.

With BeWeather getting updated to 3.0 and their widget seemingly not really working well (at least so far), along with the fact that their weather data is now coming from DarkSky, without the ability to change that or pick local weather stations, does anyone have any recommendations for another weather app that has a widget that would not only display current and today's conditions but hopefully upcoming for a day or a few ahead (which is one of the useful things that I've always found about BeWeather, aside from them previously using Weather Underground data)?

I guess that's somewhat better than many other apps. I've probably been somewhat spoiled by how BeWeather did it in the sense of simply including a quick yet informative visual summary of the next couple of days (including hi/lo temperatures and probabilities of precipitation as well as actual expected amounts):

Well, not quite that unfortunate because I discovered Dark Sky which absolutely rocks. It is scary accurate in it's forecast detail for my area.

I've got two that I really like — Hello Weather and Weather Nerd. Both are awesome and while I like the selection of sources on Hello, I really like the granularity of WN's display.

the Dark Sky API. Still some things need updated. I have been using the default weather app for a while
now. Dark Sky is not as accurate here.

Yeah, the Dark Sky switch is somewhat unfortunate (at least without the ability to perhaps switch to another data source). Even that aside, they completely broke their widget, which is something that many use, and really something that is rather odd to be broken to such a rather bad and obvious degree for them to even release it as anything more than maybe a beta release fo some sort at best.
