preloader w/o flash?

I wanted to have a preloader on the images on my portfolio website, check it out the images in the "New Designs" section I wanted to have a preloader on them.

is it hard to have that on them with have a light box effect, I'm new to html n css but kinda have the hang of flash. I'm new to html/css also.

I'm trying to get the little animation of loading to happening without using flash if thats possible.

Does the 1st image on website under "New Designs" take a while to load?

The loading image is a gif from lightbox, not flash. I don't see any flash so not sure what you mean.

The first image did take a little while to load, not horribly long (4 or 5s), but also could tell it wasn't preloaded if that's what you're asking.
