Are the ones found on ebay less of a quality than ones at official apple stores and other big retailers
They have a good protection to protect it from being scratch and dented, highly perferable

I've been using eBay-bought cases for four years now. The quality doesn't seem to differ from the ones Apple sells, but that of course depends on which retailer on eBay you purchase from.
