iPod premium in-ear earphones

2 things....i know they come out in oct, but has anyone heard what part of oct? I broke my earbuds and the wait is driving me crazy. Second, i've heard that the volume control wont work on the 1st gen touch, but will the skipping songs function work?

Hopefully it will be out early October, I don't think anyone would know when they'll be available. As for the skipping feature working, I hope so, I have an iPhone and will be hoping that the skipping feature and mic will work. We'll have to wait until they're out and someone tests them.
