Hi

I’ve had my series 3 black Apple Watch with its default black strap on for a while now and ive just purchased a cheap strap from eBay (I believe its a knock off sport loop one, which actually is bloody comfy and is great quality for what I paid for it)

Anyways my question - I’ve always liked the “premium” straps which come with the stainless steel Apple watches ie the Milanese loop and the leather ones - but how do they look with the aluminium case?

I especially love the black Milanese loop and think it could look good with my watch but can’t find any pictures - can anyone post this please if they have it? Or even any aluminium case with “premium straps”?

Thanks very much

Just be aware that the black Milanese loop can and will scratch your watch body and screen. You will have to be careful to avoid contact to watch body and screen not on your wrist.:apple:

How come it will scratch it? Is that a common thing with the loop?

The DLC coating on the black Milanese band approaches the hardness of diamonds. There are multiple threads where people complained about it scratching both front and back of their watch, even the sapphire screen will get scratched if the band comes in contact.

Looks fantastic that mate - still really gives it that premium look

Just buy a knock off Milanese loop as I have just done, cheap, and definately won't have the DLC coating to ruin your watch.

How good are the knock offs? Did you get them off eBay or elsewhere? How much would you pay for a “good” knockoff?
