You all are underestimating the ability of Tim Cook to deliver. The man is called a "supply chain genius" for a reason, I expect that Apple will be able to ship FAR more units than anyone expects. So you can probably wake up around 7am eastern, cook breakfast, read the newspaper, sit down to order the iPhone X, and still get a delivery on launch day.

Pssst! Over here! Do you think they are falling for it?

You'll need to get a confirmation in within the first 3 min or your late Q2 2018. :apple:

Really you think it will sell out that fast.

Staying up till 3. Maybe try that depending on when you have to be up? I'm a night owl with a flexible job, and I feel like I'm getting sick anyway so might not have to worry about work at all lol.

Done this many times. 2:40 won’t help. It won’t open until a few minutes after 3AM EST. I’m all pre-cleared etc. I believe the phone app is the way to go. I personally think /hope annual upgrade orders will get priority.

I'm set for 2:50 w/ 2 iPhones & 1 iPad....and I'm still prepared to camp out on the 3rd, incase I don't get my order in by 3:04.

Just stay up and place your order, although I find it hard to understand why anyone would want to spend $1K for a 64Gb iPhone X (and that's before you add Apple Care +).

I don’t know why you find it hard. Why is that.l? I’m curious. I want to spend $1,149.00 for the 256GB iPhone X. No Apple care for me though. But I’ll be doing the same next year with the next new iPhone like I have been since the first iPhone came out. Hard to understand huh? Tell me more about his please?

Over the years I've gotten orders in _minutes_ after ordering opened and had them immediately bumped to "2 weeks", and other times, fell asleep, woke up an hour or more later, had the order ship immediately. The BIG variation is obviously the product. I think the iPX is going to be a raging Charlie Foxtrot 😀 where minutes = weeks (and an hour? Q1 2018 delivery ...)

I looked at an article on how to get set up for quick checkout. I did the "add to favorites" thing and when I go back to it seems like it's trying to add in Apple Care+ when I tap it but it was included in the favorite setup, not sure whats happening. Also I am moving to Apple from ATT Next so is there a way to PreApprove for Apple Upgrade Program? Got a 3 hr drive back to NJ from Maryland so don't have a lot of time to set this up. I tried going through it but it seems like you already need to be a member? Pls let me know.

When you save your phone in favorites and you have selected apple care, you will still have to reselect when going through the order process.

But is it costing me? Does not say included at that point. Says $199.
yea you should be charged for it when you select it. But you can still get apple care anytime after you order, it is not necessary to do it before you order.

BUT it is supposed to be included, am I missing something?

Yeah there are a lot of "experts" on here all offering their opinions. Everybody has one and they are all of equal value at this point. Of course those who are way wrong will disappear for awhile rather than admit it. Truth is usually somewhere in the middle.
