I have looked all around the web, and I haven't been able to find anything. What steps are you guys taking in prep for SL, and are you planning on doing the upgrade or clean install? :apple:

http://mroogle.************* Search for "Snow Leopard upgrade" or just actually look at any post from the OS X forum for the last six hours. 🙄

saving an extra copy of documents, and of my itunes library and settings.
plan to do a clean install. All applications, I'll just reload from discs, or download.

I'll be doing the following:

1. Identify apps that come on a .dmg. Burn these to a disc.

2. Deauthorize iTunes on my computer.

3. Do a TM backup.

4. Do a clean install of SL. Or maybe I'll do some benchmarks in Leopard and then upgrade to SL and compare.

5. Authorize computer in iTunes.

6. Install iLife and iWork.

7. Restore documents, iPhoto library, videos, scripts, etc a la carte from TM backup.

8. Install apps that I burned to disc.

9. See if the network settings are good.

10. Install drivers.

11. Fiddle with other settings like hot corners, background, color theme, etc.

That's all I can think of for now.

I'm not upgrading to SL until 10.6.1 anyways. I'll let all the sheep experience the major bugs before I just do an Archive and Install.
