My order says it's is prepared for shipment - just wondering how long it took others to go from that to 'shipped'?

    Do they ship from China?

In the UK here and it's a MP quad with airport and hd 4870.

IIRC it took mine about a day, but the problem was mine changed status on a Friday afternoon, so it took all weekend before it actually shipped out...

    Okie land
IIRC mine went out very late on the same day.

After talking to Apple on the phone a few weeks ago (because my order was taking a long time to go from "Not yet shipped" to "Prepared for shipment"), the woman told me that "Prepared for shipment" essentially means this: the courrier has picked it up but has not yet updated its system.

It took a day to go from Prepared to Shipped, but if what she told me was true, then Prepared esentially means Shipped.

Did it arrive the next day? I've ordered a Macbook. How would I know if its been shipped from the UK or China? I'm currently sat waiting for 'prepared for shipment' (bad english IMO) changes to 'shipped' :D
